Configuration

The settings worth knowing about.

Desktop app

Most of the app works without any configuration. The parts you can change:

  • Cameras. Choose which cameras to use, up to three. Cameras are matched to the board during calibration.
  • Tracking. Start and stop detection, and recalibrate, from the sidebar.
  • Web UI. Shows the board’s address and ID, and opens the scoreboard in a browser. See Scoring & displays.
  • Updates. The app checks the release feed and installs updates when you ask it to. See Installation.
  • Logging and diagnostics. Detection logs are written only while profiling is on, so a board left running does not accumulate them. Set DARTPILOT_LOG=trace for per-frame detail, or DARTPILOT_DIAGNOSTICS=on to write diagnostics regardless of profiling.

Headless boards

A headless board has no settings screen. Everything is set with flags or environment variables, listed on Headless boards.

Your account
